This is a full-time, on-site role at our Nadcap-accredited facility in Phoenix, AZ. As our NDT Level 3, you'll serve as the technical authority for Radiographic (RT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Penetrant (PT) testing and help ensure the quality and integrity of aerospace components. You'll write and approve techniques and procedures, approve purchase orders and job requirements, lead internal audits, and train and mentor our inspectors from trainee through Level 2.

Compensation & Benefits
$80,000–$110,000+ per year, depending on experience and certifications, plus:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and approve NDT techniques and procedures in compliance with industry standards

• Communicate with prime NDT engineering contacts to facilitate technique approvals

• Review and approve purchase orders (POs) and job requirements for NDT inspections

• Oversee and ensure proper execution of NDT inspections for Radiographic (X-ray), Magnetic Particle, and Penetrant testing

• Review and approve inspection reports and findings

• Conduct internal NDT audits and support Nadcap and customer audits, including root cause and corrective actions for findings

• Administer the NAS-410 written practice, including training, qualification, examination, and certification of NDT personnel

• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical assistance to NDT trainees, Level 1 and Level 2 inspectors

• Conduct NDT training and mentoring for trainees and Level 1 and Level 2 inspectors, including developing and progressing new inspectors through certification

• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• NAS-410 Level 3 in RT (current, or with a previous employer) required; Level 3 in MT and/or PT preferred, or willingness to obtain

• Extensive knowledge of NDT methods, techniques, and procedures

• Ability to write, review, and approve NDT procedures and techniques

• Experience with Nadcap audits and corrective action

• Experience training and developing NDT personnel from trainee or Level 1 through Level 2

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with precision

• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ
