NDT Level 2 Inspector - MT/PT

NDT Level 2 Inspector — MT & PT

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Nadcap-accredited laboratory in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in Magnetic Particle (MT) and Penetrant (PT) testing for aerospace parts. As an NDT Level 2 Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of components by conducting non-destructive testing per industry standards.

Compensation & Benefits

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, plus:

  • Pay increases upon completing our in-house NAS-410 certification — standard for any incoming Level 2 candidate, regardless of where you certified previously

  • Note: this role does not include employer-sponsored health insurance

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and clean parts for testing in preparation for inspections

  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment for Magnetic Particle and Penetrant inspections

  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) operations according to industry standards and internal procedures

  • Accurately document and report findings, including test results and inspections

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • NAS-410 NDT Level 2 certification in Magnetic Particle (MT) and Penetrant (PT) inspections

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and evaluate minute defects

  • Exceptional analytical skills and critical thinking

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Aerospace industry experience is a plus, but not required
